"(T)hat kid will respect me. He will learn fast. You've got to show

respect in order to get respect."

More crass talk from a man who shows up the pitcher by standing and

watching each home run he hits - Barry Bonds. When you run after each

bomb you hit, then you can say this. Carlos Zambrano, who got Bonds to

line out with the bases juiced and pumped his fists in celebration,

gets it right:

"When he hit his 500th home run, he stood at home plate and watched it

a little while, and then he runs. He has been doing that since he was

a rookie, so I can do anything I want."

Good for you, Carlos. Stick it up his ass.

Still haven't changed my mind about the Cubs being out of it. Only 1

game over .500 with 55 games to play? Yeeesh! Shilling today. And

Santo for lunch.
